Kroes Productions produces fiction films, documentaries and short films often with a social interest. We make films not just to entertain, but to let the audience think.

 

Kroes Productions was established in 2023 by producer Iris Sophie Kroes. Iris graduated from the School of the Arts Utrecht (HKU) in 2025 with the productions OEDI (written and directed by Sam Bulk) and Pasará (written and directed by Jarne Hagelaars). She was nominated for the NAPA (Nederlandse Audiovisuele Producenten Alliantie) award in 2025 of best graduating producer with these projects.

 

Iris uses her broad network to not only create meaningful films, but also to create impact campaigns around these projects. She tries to take her films further than a screen. She has succesfully created and presented a series of educational lessons for OEDI for special needs children and an impact campaign for the queer community for the film Pasará.
